🐯🎓✨Our 5th Grade Graduates!✨🎓🐯

Today was a big day for our 5th Graders! Moving on ceremony, parties, and clapout! We’re so proud of them for finishing elementary school and getting ready to start a brand new adventure in middle school! 📚💫

It feels like just yesterday they were walking into kindergarten, and now they are graduating 5th grade with so many memories, friendships, and accomplishments along the way. ❤️

Congratulations! Keep dreaming big, working hard, and being amazing. The best is yet to come! Once a Travis Tiger, always a Travis Tiger 🌟🎉 🐯

Hey zoned families! If you have an incoming kindergartener, head over to the Travis Elementary website to download your registration packet for the 2025-2026 school year. Print the forms and bring them on Monday, March 3, 2025, beginning at 8am.

REMINDER 🚨 STEM night is TOMORROW! This event is free to all Travis Tigers and their families. PTA will be selling Chick-fil-a and drinks as well. This is going to be a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. So what can we expect at STEM night?
* Hands on learning! Making paper airplanes, building a gumdrop tower, marble art, making a harmonica, mini LED lightsabers, and a pumpkin guess-the-weight game!
* Parent Demonstrations! Orthodontist Dr. Bryn Cooper will be digitally scanning kids’ teeth. Radiologist Dr. Bradley Adams will share his x-ray collection. NASA Scientist Dr. Karina Marshall-Goebel will discuss the impact of space on the human body.
* Guest Demonstrations! Texas Hearing Institute will share the science of cochlear implants & hearing aids. Houston Astrological Society will be in the Spark Park with telescopes. The Travis Robotics team will be doing demos with their Legos.

Travis Fun Run 2024 was incredible today! We’ve raised over $195,000 for our school. We celebrated by jousting dragons, climbing castles, and running like royalty! PTA is so proud of our students, teachers, and parents for their dedication to Travis. Thank you! 🐯

PTA has purchased bandanas for each student to wear at Fun Run on Friday. Swipe to see your class’s team color! Feel free to send your child in that color on Friday (not required). No need to buy anything, and PTA plans to launder and reuse these bandanas in the future!
