Happy New 4-H Year! As we celebrate the start of a new 4-H Year, it is time to Re-Enroll in 4-H. PLEASE JOIN US! 4-H members and their families, and 4-H volunteers are invited to the annual Cape May County 4-H Awards Picnic and Potluck on Sunday, September 13 at 1pm at the Lockwood 4-H Youth Center. Please SCAN the QR Code to register number of guests and dish you will be bringing. Also, everyone is invited to enter our Chili Cooking Contest! Congratulations to Cape May County 4-H Equestrian of the Year Brynn Gaynor, who won 1st Runner Up in the Junior Division of the NJ 4-H Equestrian of the Year Contest at the state 4-H horse show! In addition to competing in the contest, Brynn went on to show in both English and Western Divisions of the state horse show, bringing home many ribbons. You are an inspiration to us and your fellow team members, Brynn!!!🍀🏆🍀 (Brynn is shown here 1st on the right.)

Cape May County 4-H congratulates our 2026 State 4-H Championship Horse Show Team! These talented young equestrians brought home Reserve High Point VSE and English Division titles along with many individual Grand Champion and Reserve Champion ribbons! For nine of the riders, it was their first time to the state show. In addition, they performed the 2026 Moonlight Riders Mounted Drill Team routine for the state audience in spite of missing several drill team members. We are very proud of these young 4-H members!🍀💚
