The mission of the United Way of Fayette County is to unite our community in improving the condition of people's lives. Originally the Fayette County Community Chest, in 1951 the organization became the United Way of Fayette County. Today we partner with 30 health and human service agencies in Fayette County in an effort to make sure that all people have full and complete access to services that will help them grow to their greatest potential.

🏅🎃 It’s here… our 2026 Scarecrow Run medal! 🎃🏅

Every year, our Scarecrow Run participants look forward to seeing the medal design—and this year’s is one of our favorites yet! Featuring our iconic scarecrow on the run and our beautiful Fayette County courthouse, this medal is a fun way to celebrate crossing the finish line at the Scarecrow Run 5K/10K on Saturday, September 19, 2026!

It looks to be a beautiful day to spend time at one of our local parks, come together as a community, and enjoy free resources, information, food, and treats (while supplies last)!
