Earlier today, our on duty crews were requested to assist with a large tree that had fallen on the roadway at Bayou Blue Rd. between Country Estates Drive and Buccaneer Rd.

Crews responded with chainsaws and our Kubota tractor with the grapple bucket and had the tree cut and removed from the roadway in a short time.

Thanks to all for the patience and cooperation as we worked to clear the roadway.

⚠️🚧 PLEASE USE CAUTION! 🚧⚠️

If you’re traveling between Bayou Gardens Extension and the car wash, please use extra caution. Road repairs are currently underway.

The small bridge at Canal Ln and Bayou Blue Road is down to ONE LANE, with temporary traffic signals in place to let drivers know when it is safe to proceed.

Oakview and Canal Ln will not be accessible for entry or exit, you will have to take Bayou Bend to access these roads.

🚗 Please slow down, pay attention to the signals, and allow extra time for travel.

These guys are getting it done. One post at a time! A huge THANK YOU to the firefighters, volunteers, and community service members that spent their Saturday helping to get our new fence up!

Start making plans now for your homes and family! Keep an eye on the weather and consider all warnings from your local government.
