ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: Congratulations to Sam Kinnard '24 on his collegiate athletic accomplishments and also his coaching career! Sam is not only a part of the St. Thomas More Football Coaching Staff, he is also the Head Football and Head Basketball Coach at Cathedral-Carmel School in Lafayette.

This special THURSDAY spotlight is to encourage our alumni to check out Sam tonight, Sept. 3, in his head coaching debut back in Buddy Marcello Stadium as the CC Tigers take on our Junior High Fighting Terriers!

Thank you to our Legacy families who joined us for Mass on Sunday. It was the best way to kick off the start of our school year.
We were honored to have several families whose legacy stretches over four generations, dating back to the 1950s. What a blessing!
If you missed this year’s celebration, don’t worry! We are making plans for this to become an annual Terrier tradition.

Join us as we celebrate the generations of families who have made Vandebilt Catholic a part of their story. Our school dates back to 1870 and has continued to be the only Catholic high school in Terrebonne Parish. We invite all our alumni and their families to celebrate Mass with us tomorrow.

Our Legacy Mass honors families with two or more generations of alumni or current students from Vandebilt Catholic High School, as well as our alumni of Houma Central Catholic High School and St. Francis de Sales High School.

We invite all Legacy families to gather with us for this special tradition as we celebrate our shared faith, family, and the enduring legacy of Catholic education. Following Mass, Legacy families are invited to: Participate in a group Legacy Family photo; enjoy a light lunch; take a guided tour of campus; and capture individual Legacy Family photos.

ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT: Local artist Sarah Fister Hebert '09 of SarahK Artistry, was recently featured in Architectural Digest for her unique, heavily textured art with pops of gold. Many of her recent pieces feature the gorgeous architecture and recognizable locations of New Orleans. Sarah is currently working on a new collection called "Southern Holy" to be released this October. Congratulations, Sarah!
