We’re excited to share that our President, will be a featured panelist at The Empower Hour: Espresso & Epilepsy this Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 5–7 PM at Spotlight Dance NOLA (1995 Gentilly Blvd, Suite C7).

Derra will be sharing her journey, lived-experience insights, and the mission behind Saving Grace Epilepsy Foundation — empowering others to navigate epilepsy with dignity, education, and community.

DAY 3 at Essence Fest 💜
After closing down the booth, we had to get one last picture in! Ashley, Akia, and our founder Derra Howard wrapped up the final day of Essence Fest with heart, grace, and intention.

This weekend was more than awareness—it was about connection, community, and impact. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported the mission of Saving Grace Epilepsy Foundation. 💜

DAY 3 at Essence Fest 💜

The final day of the Essence of the Culture experience was incredible! From heartfelt conversations to educating hundreds on epilepsy awareness and seizure safety — our booth was full of purpose and power.

👩🏽‍⚕️ Volunteers Akia (Derra’s cousin) and Derra helped distribute Grace Kits, swag bags, share life-saving information, and connect with new community allies.

💜 Whether you stopped by for resources, to support, or to share your own story — thank you.

The work continues. Epilepsy affects over 3 million Americans — and we’re here to serve, support, and show up.
