Ryan's Case for Smiles, Southeast Louisiana Chapter, loves making pillowcases for the children, especially at Christmas. We just dropped off a very large box of Christmas pillowcases and I wish I could see the healing Christmas smiles they will bring to the children!

Thank you so much, Brenda Blanchard for the donation of fabric to Ryan's Case for Smiles Southeast Louisiana Chapter. I will enjoy making pillowcases for the children and your donation will put Smiles on the Children's faces one pillowcase at a time.

I am truly blessed with the receipt of 2 large boxes of pillowcases from Barbara Means, Georgia Chapter Coordinator of Case for Smiles. Thank you so much! The pillowcases are beautiful and the children will love them.

I am the Regional Coordinator for the Southeast Louisiana Chapter. My husband and I live in a small community about 10 miles from the Gulf of Mexico and we were in the bullseye of Hurricane Ida's target landing. We decided to evacuate just 1 day prior to its landing since we didn't want to wait around for the 140 MPH predicted winds. On our way out the door with our puppy, necessary medications, clothes, whatever we could grab, I eyed a stack of Christmas pillowcases I had already cut out. Knowing we were headed north to my daughter's house, I knew I would hopefully have time to do some sewing on my granddaughter's sewing machine. Who would think of that with a deadly hurricane coming? We stayed there until after the storm, then we headed to Hoover, Alabama, the closest hotel that would accept furry friends. I have 30 Christmas pillowcases made and ready to launder, iron and package for the children, memories of Hurricane Ida.
