Our race would not be possible without the generous support of our community. The Houlton Rotary Club has demonstrated what this ongoing partnership can achieve, and we are excited to announce significant updates for the 2027 race season.

Proud is an understatement for these three racers! The Northern Maine Soap Box Derby was well represented by our racers this past week in Akron.

Reagan placed in 6TH PLACE for Local Stock Division! How exciting is that!

Jonathan got to experience the hill twice on race day in the Local Super Stock Division due to the first heat being a dead heat. The second round was only lost by 0.02!

Also racing was Aiden, who placed 7TH PLACE! Aiden was racing this year in Rally Stock Division! Don’t forget Aiden was also in Akron as an All-Star this week!!

To say our association is proud of our racers is an understatement! Thank you for representing The County so well this week Reagan, Jonathan and Aiden.

A few more pictures of our racers this week!

They are laying low today and a few events have been canceled due to the heavy smoke from wildfires in the area.

Race day is tomorrow though! Keep an eye out for the link to follow the race! We are excited to see how our local racers will do!

“THE RACING LEGEND” has made his way to Akron again!

Aiden Cyr has qualified in rally points to race in Akron AND he is an All Star this year. No surprise there!

The fun continues….. Jonathan’s family has provided some awesome photos of their week in Akron so far. Jonathan’s mom also provided the following update….

We have had a busy week here in Akron! We have been to a RubberDucks baseball game did a 5k hung out at yogi bears and raced a few races at the track. So much fun!!
