Houlton Community Arts Center Building a future for arts in our community.

With the generosity of our community, more than $1.2 million dollars was raised to support the renovation of the auditorium, cafeteria, and auditorium entrance of Houlton High School, completing the first of a two-phase plan. Phase II includes a 13,000 square foot addition designed to deal with a number of issues that currently challenge the music and arts department and limit the potential of the existing space: overcrowding, noise pollution, and storage. The new addition will provide separate rehearsal spaces for vocal and instrumental music classes, a theater and dance classroom, and a visual arts classroom.
