Northern Maine Woodturners

Northern Maine Woodturners Sharing the craft of woodturning. A group of woodturners that gather monthly to share information. Open to those with and interest in woodturning.

No need to even have a lathe. We are in the process of obtaining grants in order to purchase lathes and accessories to demonstrate and teach the craft of woodturning. We have participated in community events as well as local schools.

Good morning All. I was informed yesterday that Hodgdon High School is changing the building around and we need to get the Woodturners equipment out of the building so nothing get lost or worse, thrown out. Are there any members (only) willing to contact Royce to remove the equipment and store? I do not have the time due to my new job. I have Royce's number if you need it.

Hey everyone! I sent out an email about possibly having a meeting at my shop in Smyrna. I don't have all the addresses and some didn't go through so if you can spread the word and let me know I would appreciate it. My email is [email protected]. It's Jack if you haven't already figured it out. Hope everyone is doing well!

58 V, 16 inch bar, Echo electric chainsaw. You can use it in the shop, I think it’s great.

Lucy Foss here. I don't know about you folks, but I need my woodturning buddies back! I'm fully vaccinated and I'm sure many of you are, as well. The shop is big and we could wear masks. Can we start meeting again? I need challenges and to see your excellent work to inspire me. Who's with me?

hope everyone had a great Holiday season?

As Covid continues to spread in our areas I am sorry to say we need to cancel again this months meeting. We are still willing to try to have a Zoom meeting if there are enough of us who wanted to participate ( Personally I have participated in man but I never have set one up) but also we are in need of volunteers to do a demo. I hope that this current pandemic slows or even goes away in the near future but for now I believe it is everyone's best interest.

This could possibly work for us.
