🚀 Big things are happening in Southern Aroostook, and it takes a team to make them happen!

Missed our October board meeting? We've turned nearly an hour of updates, presentations, and conversations into a 7-minute video recap highlighting some of the exciting work happening across our region!

🌲 Putting Southern Aroostook on the map! Thanks in part to funding from the Visit Maine Maine Office of Tourism, our collaborative Attraction Committee has been telling our region's story through targeted digital marketing, seasonal videos, and tourism promotion. The results are encouraging, and we're already looking ahead to what's next!

🤝 Welcoming a new partner to the table! Our Board of Directors unanimously approved a bylaws amendment welcoming Northern Maine Development Commission (NMDC) as an ex officio voting member of our board. Strengthening regional partnerships means more opportunities to collaborate, share resources, and move projects forward together.

🏡 More than just attracting visitors! From supporting local businesses and developing our future workforce to welcoming new residents and advancing community projects, economic development takes many forms.

👏 A huge thank you to our board members, committee volunteers, and partners, including the Town of Houlton, Greater Houlton Chamber of Commerce, and our incredible Gateway Ambassadors, who dedicate countless hours to making Southern Aroostook a great place to live, work, visit, and invest.

🎥 Have 7 minutes? See what we've been working on!

And if you believe in the future of Southern Aroostook, help us spread the word by sharing this video!
