🌟🏠 A heartfelt THANK YOU to our phenomenal alumni! 🏠🌟

With their incredible generosity, our Chapter was able to raise over $16,000 to fund a new roof(which, if you can’t tell by the photo, we desperately need)! 🙌👏 Their support not only protects our cherished home but also reinforces the spirit of brotherhood that defines us.

We’re truly grateful for their unwavering commitment and can’t wait to share the results. Here’s to many more years of shared moments and memories under a brand-new roof! 🙏💙

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From Midland, MI, Avery is expecting to graduate in 2026
Avery chose to come to Michigan Tech because it offered a great opportunity to experience a new lifestyle while being able to push himself the hardest he could to achieve a degree that would make him successful.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

One funny memory of Avery’s in college is when he and his brothers jumped into the portage near the school.

A final addition from Avery is “Remember people there is more to life than the future starting living your life now.”

Meet Abhirup Banerjee. Abhi is an electrical and computer engineering major with a minor in mathematical sciences. Abhi joined the Delta Nu class of 2022.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From Kolkata, India, Abhi is expecting to graduate in 2025
Abhi chose to come to Michigan Tech because it was the first school that accepted him, and when visiting the region with his dad, he absolutely loved it.
One of Abhi’s favorite parts of Tech is hanging out with the brothers at Delta Upsilon because they make him feel like he doesn’t need to be somebody he’s not. He also really likes dominos as they are a really good source of food while studying.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Some of Abhi’s hobbies include bike rides, video games, and animated series of the Japanese variety.

As he grows older, Abhi’s current plan is that he would like to work in robotics or autonomous vehicles.

Some interesting things about Abhi are that he knows three languages, is a third degree black belt in taekwondo, and he has been chased by multiple wild dogs without getting bitten, back when he lived in Mumbai.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One funny memory of Abhi’s in college is, while in his sophomore year, after a long night of studying, he went to his enterprise lab to sleep on the couch. After remembering that there was a grad student who was using the couch, he went back to his dorm to go to bed, forgot how to unlock his door in his tiredness, and slept on the couch in his kitchenette.
Meet Austin Sherman, our current vice president of risk management. Austin is a computer engineering major who joined the Delta Mu class of 2021.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

From St. Charles, IN, Austin is expected to graduate in 2026.

Austin chose to come to Michigan Tech because he found the cost/opportunity ratio was super favorable as well as the quality of the education being offered.

One of Austin’s favorite parts of tech is the amount of snow we are supposed to get every year.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some of Austin’s hobbies include gaming, laser tagging, and deconstructing complex mechanics to investigate the intricate inner workings, as well as doing the same with just other, simpler, things.
As he grows older, Austin’s current plan is that he would like to build next generation CPUs.
Meet William Bogan. Will is a mechanical engineering major who joined the Delta Kappa class of 2021.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

From Valparaiso, IN, Will is expected to graduate in 2026.

Will chose to come to Michigan Tech because he absolutely loves the outdoors and he thought the quality of the engineering program was one of the finest at any college that he got accepted to.

One of Will’s favorite parts of tech is that there is a lot of independence required as well as that there is always something happening and nobody leaves unless it’s on one of the big breaks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some of Will’s hobbies include backpacking, as well as just being outside and enjoying the outdoors
As he grows older, Will’s current plan is that he would like to become a project manager.
Something interesting about Will is that he has worked on Isle Royale for 3 seasons, he has summited Mt. Whitney in California, and he has a twin brother.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

One of the best things that Will has experienced here at Tech is joining DU, it’s like his family away from home. He enjoys how functionally dysfunctional the group is and how all of us have our own personalities that mesh in fun ways to create this soup that is called Delta Upsilon.

One last thing that Will would like to add to his spotlight, “I don’t have many nuggets of wisdom, but I will say this. Getting an education is important. Getting good grades is important, but it isn’t everything. College is more than getting an A on a paper or exam. It is the experiences and the betterment of ourselves that are important. It is the first time in our lives where we can spread our wings, take what our parents have taught us and use it in the real world. So yes study hard get good grades, but remember to,
‘Stop and smell the roses every once and while, because if you blink you just might miss it’
-Ferris Bueller”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One funny story from Jason’s that, while on an adventure with some buddies, he and a friend got both of their trucks stuck in the snow and had to spend 2 hours digging them out.
