When she was in the 8th grade, Cutter Morning Star alumna and current Vice President of the Cutter Morning Star Alumni Association, Amanda Moore, attended the very first Girls of Promise Conference in Little Rock alongside her classmates, Misty Terry and Megan Burns. The opportunity came at the recommendation of their science teacher, Mrs. Miller-Hopper.

Amanda and Megan later appeared in a documentary for the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas, and Amanda has remained actively involved with the organization ever since participating in the Power of the Purse Luncheon and serving as an official photographer. Today, she continues that legacy as one of their spokeswomen.
