FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Classes

The Springs Nursing and Rehab is hosting a free CNA Class!

Class begins on Monday, March 2, 2026.
Class hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday

Applicants who wish to apply will have the opportunity for employment at our Brian Center Alleghany or Brian Center Botetourt locations. Applicants must undergo a background check, drug screen, and two reference checks.

Deadline to apply is Friday March 27.

We are so grateful at the Spring's Nursing and Rehab for Julie Carroll and her beautiful family that put together a holiday party for all our residents.

The International United Miss Virginia Junior Pre-Teen, Larrah Brewster, provided gifts for the residents and spread holiday cheer with her visit. Julie and her family brought holiday food and sang Christmas carols throughout the day.

Our wonderful community came together and provided some of the best gifts for our residents filling our building with joy and warmth. Our Springs Nursing & Rehab team would like to send a very big thank you to our community for always supporting our residents & staff!

Today, we had our yearly Springs Nursing & Rehab Therapy Christmas themed sessions. We decorated our Christmas tree, completed some fine motor crafts, and some dynamic standing balance tasks!

Looking to spread some holiday cheer? As the season approaches, it’s a great time to remember the 1.35 million people living in skilled nursing and assisted living communities. Care teams work hard to make the holidays special—but a little extra kindness goes a long way.

If you’re interested in donating, here are some meaningful gift ideas:
• Large-print books, puzzles, games, and adult coloring supplies
• Cozy blankets, throws, and fire-retardant pillows
• Warm clothing like pajamas, sweatshirts, gripped socks, and slippers
• Personal care items and lotions
• Snacks, treats, and insulated mugs
• Picture frames to help brighten their rooms
• And most importantly—the gift of your time

Holiday traditions are alive and well at The Springs Nursing & Rehab! Last night, we hosted our Annual Holiday Dinner, bringing together our residents, their families, and our dedicated employees for an evening filled with joy, good food, and festive cheer. ❤️🎄
