Crazy Quilters

Crazy Quilters We meet at 10 a.m. the 2nd Tuesday of every month in the Garland Co. Fairgrounds in the EHC building.

The Crazy Quilters is a University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service club in Garland County, Arkansas. Our members volunteer their time providing quilts, bibs, lap robes and other home made articles to various organizations, including but not limited to, hospitals, nursing homes and childrens homes. The members of our club are active in Relay for Life fund raising a

nd those interested are members of the Garland County EHC Relay for Life Team. We also volunteer in the EHC kitchen during the Garland County Fair and the Arts and Crafts Fair. Besides our many volunteer efforts, our monthly meetings provide useful information for day to day living, friendly and fun conversation as well as various tips and techniques for quilt top construction and completion.

Some pictures from our 2026 Quilt Seminar. Everyone seems to have had a great time!

Our door prizes were donated by our club members and some special donates made by Diane’s Quilting in Hot Springs, Vickie’s Quilt shop in Glenwood, Hot Springs Sewing & Vacuum, and Hickory Hills. We even had donates made by Susie Bishop’s daughter. Susie was one of Crazy Quilters presidents and wonder members. She was VERY involved in EHC and is greatly missed! We want to shout out a huge THANK YOU to all those who helped make this a great Seminar!
