Curious as to what Montana lodges did during the WWI / 1918 Spanish Influenza pandemic? Well, if you were Butte, you OPENED a new lodge in defiance of the order to curtail public activity and meeting. Butte lost over 1,000 citizens to the flu across Oct, Nov, and Dec 1918. Amsterdam Elementary in Manhattan, MT, was awarded a $1000.00 grant in 2020 for the library. This is to purchase a mixture of easy fiction, early readers, early chapter books, graphic novels, and a quarter of the grant will be used for Playway All-in-One Audiobooks.
