First Presbyterian Bargain Box In 1968, First Presbyterian Women began the Bargain Box Thrift Shop. It was originally envisioned to support nursing scholarships. It is not a consignment store.

Over the years, the mission of the BB has grown to include more agencies and families in need across Garland Co. This Thrift store is Presbyterian Women's Mission project of First Presbyterian Church. Our proceeds are given 100 % back to the community of Garland County. We are a resale store of men, women's and children's clothes and household items. On Wednesday afternoons, Bargain Box volunteer

s sell items to the public. Since 1968, over $435,318.30 has been raised to provide educational scholarships, enhance health care, and meet human needs for Garland Co. neighbors.
