Every turkey season teaches you something.

Maybe it was a new calling tactic.
Maybe it was realizing how sharp their eyes really are.
Maybe it was learning patience after getting humbled by a bird with a walnut sized brain.

No matter how the season went, there is always something to take away from time spent in the woods.

So we want to hear from you…

What is something you learned about wild turkey this hunting season? Drop it in the comments 👇

Today is about remembering what was paid for this country.

Not barbecues.
Not sales.
Not a long weekend.

Memorial Day is for the men and women who gave everything so future generations could live free.

The freedom to speak openly.
The freedom to raise a family.
The freedom to walk public lands, hunt, fish, explore, and live a life that is still connected to something real.

There are not many places in the world with what we have here. Vast public lands. Inherent freedoms. The ability to carve your own path and pursue your own life.

None of that exists without sacrifice.

Today we honor those who paid the ultimate price protecting what makes this country truly unique.

Never take that lightly.

Happy Memorial Day from Wild Life Outdoors.
Take a moment today to remember why we have the freedoms we do.

There is something different about chasing a truly American bird.

The wild turkey will humble you quick. Sharp eyes. Better hearing. Always one step ahead. You can do everything right and still walk out empty handed.

And that is exactly why it means something.

Especially when it happens on public land.

Ground that belongs to all of us. Places where anyone willing to put in the work can lace up their boots, step into the woods, and chase the same experience.

Early mornings. Quiet timber. A gobble breaking the silence and getting your heart going. Getting outsmarted more times than you would like to admit.

But it is never just about the bird.

It is about the time in the woods. The process. The patience. The access to places like this that make it all possible.

Because even when the hunt does not go your way… you still walk away with something.

Today marks 3 years since Wild Life Outdoors launched.

What started as an idea has grown into something way bigger than we ever expected… and that is because of you.

To everyone who has listened, watched, shared, supported, and stuck with us through all the changes… thank you. Seriously. You are the reason this continues to grow and evolve.

We have learned a lot over these past few years. About the outdoors, about storytelling, and about the kind of conversations that actually matter.

Keep an eye out for the next video dropping soon. I am going to be talking about the future of the show and where things are headed from here.

3 years. Much Love

Mid term elections matter more than most people think.

This is where decisions get made that directly impact something uniquely American… our public lands and the freedoms tied to them.

The ability to hunt, fish, explore, and access wild places is not something every country has. It is part of our inheritance. And it only stays that way if the right decisions are being made at the policy level.

If you care about keeping those lands public…
If you care about protecting the freedoms that come with them…
If you care about the kind of country your kids are going to grow up in…

Then this matters.

This is not about right or left.
It is about policy.

It is about paying attention to what is actually being proposed, passed, and protected… or taken away.

Because public lands, personal freedoms, and the future of both are shaped by the people we put in place to make those calls.

Vote with intention.
Vote with awareness.
Vote based on what you actually want to see protected and preserved.

Do you want an opportunity to be part of something meaningful?

Kira is heading to Thailand, where she will be spending time at a Karen elephant sanctuary and helping with hands on conservation work.

Even better, Kira will be hosting the trip and bringing some of her followers along for the experience. That means you have a chance to go, learn, and be part of real work on the ground alongside her.

If you have ever wanted to travel with purpose, this is it.

A lot of people say they love wildlife.

But what does that actually mean?

In this clip from this week’s episode, Kira answers a powerful question. What do you wish people understood about what it really takes to protect wildlife?

Tune in to the full episode for her full answer!

Loving wildlife is easy when it is comfortable. When it is distant. When it does not challenge you. But real conservation takes more than that. It takes understanding, responsibility, and sometimes making decisions that are not always simple.

This is a perspective more people need to hear.
