We ordered a few extra meals for anyone still interested in coming. It's a free event. You can message me on Facebook or email if you plan on attending. 😀

Fall River Conservation is hosting our third annual Soil Health Workshop. This year’s theme is Composting- For Large Scale Ranching and Farming to Small Scale (Backyard Gardeners). We have specifically planned our speakers to target these three groups: Ranchers, Farmers and Gardeners.
Healthy soils benefit us all from increasing carrying capacity in pastures, saving money on fertilizers, w**d control, improved grass stands, and healthy plants.
This event is free but we ask if you could RSVP for meal count by Sept 25th at [email protected] or 605-745-5716 ex 121

Trees are in! So be expecting a phone call from me to schedule your tree pick-up sometime in the next couple of weeks. People who ordered in the Fall will be called first.
Some things to keep in mind when called/calling to set up a tree pick-up:
Plan on planting your trees the day of pick-up. The tree cooler is set at a certain tempt/humidity for the trees. Bareroots are laid in waxed boxes covered with moist mulch. Trees are just fine sitting in the cooler.
If you cannot plant the same day as pickup. Place bareroot trees in buckets and cover roots with moist mulch. It is imperative for the tree’s roots to not be exposed and kept moist. Do not place roots in a bucket of water over 24hrs as that will suffocate your tree. Even with this method still try to plant your trees as soon as you possibly can.
If I am not in the office building when you arrive, I may be out in the back in the tree cooler.
Please do not come to pick up your trees unless you have been contacted and an appointment has been made. We fill your order sheet just before your pick-up time to ensure tree health and quality.
