Many of our members worked with Jeff Meek of the Village Voice on the Veterans History Project. Approximately 375 veterans' stories were submitted to the Library of Congress between 2007 and 2019. Jeff and his wife, Jeanne, recently attended the 25th Anniversary Gala held in Washington D.C. Jeff mentioned Akansa's involvement in the project while attending the event.
