We're Hiring! Bethlehem Lutheran School — Two Part-Time Openings

Bethlehem Lutheran School is looking to fill two part-time positions for the 2026–27 school year:

Art Teacher (Part-Time)
Share your creativity with our students! You'll plan and teach art classes for grades [1–8], helping kids explore their God-given gifts through hands-on projects. Art background or teaching experience preferred; a heart for kids is a must.

Student Success Assistant (Part-Time)
Work alongside our teachers to support students who need a little extra help — small-group instruction, one-on-one reading and math support, and encouragement throughout the school day. Patience and a love for learning matter more than a specific degree.

These can be filled by two people or by one person taking on both roles — we're flexible for the right candidate.

Tuesday and Wednesday, the five new district presidents gathered for orientation at WELS Center for Mission and Ministry building. Orientation for new district presidents provides them with resources, information, and support they need to help them carry out their work with their new role.

𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗙𝗩𝗟 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀,

As we reflect on the recent storms that swept through the Fox Cities, our hearts are filled with gratitude to our gracious God for His protecting hand over the Fox Valley Lutheran campus and facilities. We praise Him for watching over our school and for the many ways He continues to provide for and care for our ministry.

At the same time, we recognize that many families throughout our community were not spared. We especially lift up in prayer those in and around Menasha, where the storms appear to have caused some of the greatest damage. We also remember all of our neighbors across the Fox Cities who are facing damaged homes, power outages, clean-up efforts, and the uncertainty that follows a storm.

We pray that our Lord would surround those affected with His peace, grant them strength for the days ahead, and provide for every need through the love and generosity of others. May He protect the first responders, utility workers, and volunteers who are serving our communities with such dedication.

As members of the FVL family, let us also look for opportunities to be the hands and feet of Christ. Whether through prayer, encouragement, lending a helping hand, or meeting a practical need, may God use each of us to reflect His love to those around us.

Please continue to keep our entire Fox Cities community in your prayers. May the Lord keep all safe, strengthen those who are hurting, and unite our community as we care for one another in Christian love.

We are very thankful for the work one of our newest teacher assistants is doing on this project. We welcome Mrs. Williams to our great staff next year!

This week our final theology curriculum project writing team is kicking off their work for the middle school level lessons! 🥳 In total 50 writers are working on creating the teaching guides and student materials for infant though high school levels. We are thankful to God for supplying his church with talented and willing servants!
