Our annual 4th of July Fishing Derby for 2025 was a success! Congrats to our winner's for biggest fish in each age group! The winner's for this year's Derby were: 0-3: Izzy Mauck, 4-5: Xander Radford, 6-7: Ryder Ramirez, 8-9: Robert Heineken, 10-11: Callie Swendson, 12-13: Hunter Durre, and 14-15: Hayden Jackson. Hunter Durre had the biggest overall with a 5lb 12oz Catfish! Our 2 Lifetime Fishing License winners were Hanna Reed and Treston Walker. We also gave away 70 new fishing poles and various prizes including several bicycles.

We would like to thank all of the 236 participants that came out this year, and of course our many sponsors that make this all possible!

No fishing license? No problem! This weekend only, June 7th & 8th, the State of Kansas has designated as free fishing days. As our club member Catfish George likes to say, "If you ain't fishin', you ain't catchin'."
