Twin Tiers Sheltie Rescue I am a volunteer for groups in Northern PA and Upstate NY since there are no official rescues in this area. This is NOT an official rescue.

I have been a Sheltie Rescue Volunteer for rescues that are NOT located in our immediate area. I hope to be a resource to help people connect with rescue when needed and a place to share my experiences as a Sheltie Rescue volunteer.

We are delighted to be home to enjoy the most beautiful colors of our whole trip...and nesting on the back of the couch.

Teagan is always so happy when I can find a place to get out the chuckit. Nice dog park and a nature trail and a few camper hookups in this tiny little town.

During our stay in Chicago, got to visit with past adopter of our fosters, Connie and her pack of mostly Laphounds, plus a BC and Sheltie mix. The dogs enjoyed a romp in her fenced yard and Ryland decided to fully examine the backyard water feature. I love connecting with my dog friends!

5 dogs without much walking experience makes exercise and potty time quite complicated. Thankful for Loves dog parks as a fallback but happy today to find some lovely local parks in Brooklyn, Ohio and Angola, Indiana where we had the places to ourselves.

Before we left for our trip, we had to say goodbye to dear old Sammy. He came to us at age 14, losing all his teeth and in terrible shape. We adopted him expecting to be a short term hospice home. He lived 2 and a half good years and was 16.5. While still in decent physical health, his vision and his mental faculties were failing and he was not enjoying life. We were honored to be his home for his last few years.

Timmy and his friends are off on another trip. Found a place to camp tonight at a hidden gem of a spot in Cleveland. DJ spinning tunes. Nice way to start some pseudo vacation time.
