Twin Tiers Sheltie Rescue

I am a volunteer for groups in Northern PA and Upstate NY since there are no official rescues in this area. This is NOT an official rescue.

I have been a Sheltie Rescue Volunteer for rescues that are NOT located in our immediate area. I hope to be a resource to help people connect with rescue when needed and a place to share my experiences as a Sheltie Rescue volunteer.

The steps were rotten underneath so of course the project expanded to include a deck upgrade and ramp for the pups. Contractor did a great job and will be back after his vacation to finish some trim and blocking off the underdeck. I only put one small hole in my finger with the carpet knife but dogs now have a grassy path all the way down. Timmy loves it. The other will learn to use it in time.

Had a new guest tonight. Meet Macie! (Far right) She is just here overnight and will be headed to her foster home tomorrow. Very sweet 3 year old just had issues with another non sheltie in her previous home. Otherwise she has been well loved and cared for. LISSR will post more as she settles into foster care.

A rare photo of the whole pack tonight. Sammy is still around but not in too many pictures. He seems to be functionally blind at this point, making it a challenge to get around. He still loves treat time when he can find me!

Since I won't let her eat poo, Rosie decided the fresh green w**d grass growing over the rcently repaired septic tank must be the next best thing. Lol.

Yay owner located! Thanks to our local dog folks who helped to connect the dots.

Anyone know this dog? Found in my neighborhood. Unaltered male, small terrier mix. No collar but nice dog. Calling dog control to check for chip.
