🇺🇸 **FLAG RETIREMENT CEREMONY – COMMUNITY UPDATE** 🇺🇸
American Legion Post 134 • Horn Lake, MS

We want to share an update with our community about our upcoming **Flag Retirement Ceremony** happening on **Saturday, June 13, 2026**. Breakfast will begin at **8:00 AM**, and the ceremony will start at **10:30 AM**.

A Flag Retirement Ceremony is a deeply respectful tradition that ensures worn or unserviceable U.S. flags are retired with honor. Each flag we retire has flown proudly over homes, businesses, and memorials in our community — representing freedom, sacrifice, and the values we stand for. This ceremony pays tribute to that service and gives each flag the dignity it deserves.

If you’ve never witnessed a flag retirement before, it is a powerful and meaningful experience. We welcome anyone who would like to attend and be part of this moment of reflection and respect.

We will also have **Crawfish that afternoon** for those who want to stay and enjoy the day with us.

The American Legion Post #134 is having a Silent Auction on 6/13 with Captain Boogie, Crawfish and the Flag Retirement!

One of things donated by our Auxiliary is a pair of tickets to see Luke Bryan!

Come out and eat all ya want, hear some good music, have some ice cold beverages, bid on some awesome stuff and have amazing company for the day!
Festivities start at 8AM WITH BREAKFAST!

Just an update - Craft Night will be suspended until July due to our festivities in June for Flag Retirement and Crawfish on the 13th!
