Fiesta en Horizon brought local businesses, families, and community members together for a day filled with more than activities. It created space to meet, connect, share experiences, and build new relationships right here in Horizon City.

For our vendors, those connections are part of what makes events like this so meaningful. A conversation can introduce someone to a new business, connect one entrepreneur with another, or simply make our local business community feel a little closer.

This is just a glimpse. Soon, we’ll be sharing more of the moments, connections, and experiences that made Fiesta en Horizon so special.

The story behind a growing business is often built on long days, changing plans, and the determination to keep going. Skinny’s BBQ is a great example of how that persistence can turn an idea into something that continues to grow.

Jason and Angelica Chavez started by catering events, took their food on the road with a food truck, and eventually expanded with a second location right here in Horizon City.

Looking back at their journey is a reminder of how much work happens before we see a new storefront open its doors. We’re glad to have Skinny’s BBQ as part of our local business community and look forward to seeing their story continue.

A little creativity is joining the fun at Fiesta en Horizon!

Viva Zacha will be bringing plaster figures ready to become something completely your own. Choose a piece, pick up your colors, and let your imagination take over as you paint and decorate it during the event.

It’s a fun way for kids and families to slow down, get creative, and leave the celebration with something they made themselves. Be sure to stop by their booth and see what you can create!
