As we prepare for another exciting season, we want to encourage every family to get involved and support our program.
If paying your athlete’s registration fee may be difficult, we encourage you to first try a Fill My Football fundraiser. This gives family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and local businesses the opportunity to support your athlete before the season begins. Many families are able to raise some or even all of their registration this way.
This season, Hoquiam Youth Football will have ONLY 4 financial assistance applications available. Once those four spots have been filled, no additional assistance will be available. We encourage families to explore every fundraising opportunity before applying so we can reserve those spots for families with the greatest financial need.
Fundraising is vital to keeping our program affordable and successful. Registration fees alone do not cover the cost of running our program.
Did you know?
—A single new football helmet costs around $375 each.
— We recondition helmets every year.
—We replace 12 helmets every year to keep our athletes safe.
—We also have ongoing expenses for equipment, field supplies, insurance, officials, and more.
That is why we ask every family to support our fundraisers throughout the season. Whether it’s participating in the Silent Auction, helping with team fundraisers, or supporting other fundraising events, every effort makes a difference and directly benefits our athletes.
