Alpha Lodge, AF&AM An observant, contemplative lodge of Freemasons residing in Hopkinton, MA.

As a lodge of Freemasons, we are part of the oldest and largest fraternal organization in the world, an organization that is dedicated to the basic tenets of friendship, morality, and brotherly love. Alpha Lodge was formally constituted on November 13, 1876, in Framingham but currently meeting in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. Part of our mission, and every Masonic lodge's mission, is to "make good men better" to serve our families, fraternity, faith, communities, and country. Alpha Lodge is a member of the 15th North Masonic District within the jurisdiction of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Masschusetts.

At the Threshold — November at Alpha Lodge

This month, Alpha Lodge reflects on the idea of the threshold — that meaningful space between where we stand and where we aspire to go. A threshold invites us to pause, consider what we carry with us, and prepare for what lies ahead.

As part of our annual theme “The Masonic Journey,” we turn our attention to the moment where preparation meets possibility — the quiet space between the inward and the outward, the familiar and the unknown. Whether facing inward or outward, the threshold reminds us that transformation often begins in the pause between the two.

Our upcoming meeting will explore how we cultivate intention, create meaningful spaces, and use the threshold as a guide for the journey both within the Lodge and beyond.
