Meet Asher 🤎 At 9 years young, Asher has life pretty much figured out: car rides, leisurely walks, chicken chips, naps, and making sure you’re never alone in the kitchen or bathroom again!

Yesterday on his field trip, he cruised through a busy neighborhood without batting an eye, walked like a gentleman on leash, then headed home to inspect every room before picking out the perfect spot on the couch. His favorite activity? Quietly following his person around like a shadow.

A few things Asher would like you to know:

✔️ Professional couch companion

Thinking about adding a dog to your family? Pebble is making a pretty strong case for skipping the puppy stage. In foster, he’s been the kind of companion everyone hopes for—gentle, easy to live with, always ready for an adventure, and just as happy to spend the evening snuggled up with his people.

This handsome boy sleeps in, is perfectly house-trained, happily joins the morning school run, and then settles quietly while his foster family works. At the end of the day, all he really wants is to curl up next to his people for belly rubs and ear scratches.

Pebble has done well with kids and has been a gentle, easygoing companion in his foster home. He loves car rides, is always up for a hike or run, and never says no to a lick mat, a squeaky toy, or a little bit of cheese.

He’s the kind of dog who already knows how to be part of a family—the kind who can join you on an adventure and then happily snooze on the couch beside you.

Now this bonded duo is happily settled into their forever home, and their mom even created an Instagram account to share their adventures! ✨

In this Partners in Action highlight, we're giving a shout-out to Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton, Inc. in Massachusetts for demonstrating the value of creative community partnerships. 🙌

As a Pawtriots partner shelter, Baypath teamed up with the New England Patriots Foundation on the New England Patriots’ schedule release video, featuring several adoptable dogs from their shelter: https://bit.ly/4ohekDY. Baypath dogs have also been spotlighted on 98.5 The Sports Hub. 💙

In May, Baypath joined several other local shelters at the Patriots Foundation’s Draft Day Adoption Event at Gillette Stadium, which led to several adoptions and enabled shelters to connect with new supporters.

Thanks to the support of the Kraft family, the Patriots Foundation and their media partners, Baypath is spreading the adoption message to football fans and animal lovers throughout New England and beyond!

Some dogs leave a mark on your heart. Dahlia is one of them.🥹💜

This pint-sized sweetheart is around 4 years old and has already been through more than any dog should. Dahlia was found tied up alongside another dog by local Animal Control, and we know she has had at least one litter of puppies. Despite everything she's experienced, she greets the world with nothing but love and affection.

One of our longtime dog volunteers, Deb, was completely taken with this sweet lady and shared:

"Dahlia is absolutely one of the sweetest dogs I have met in my 12 years at Baypath. She has everything you could want in a dog. She is sweet and loves to cuddle. She is beautiful, too. The perfect size, in my opinion. She looks into your eyes and you melt! If I could have a dog, I would take her in a heartbeat."

Honestly, we couldn't agree more.

Dahlia adores people, enjoys the company of other dogs—whether for a playdate or just hanging out—and never passes up the chance for cuddles. New environments can make this gentle lady a little nervous at first, but with reassurance and a little patience, she warms up quickly and lets her sweet personality shine. More than anything, she's ready for a family that will show her the kindness and security she has always deserved.

What a day!! ⛳️🌞 Kimchi and puppies Connor and Colby, joined us at the Hopkinton Country Club today for our 13th Annual Fore Paws Golf Tournament, and they had the BEST time! Swipe through for some puppy highlights (many more Fore Paws photos to come!) 📸

There were plenty of pets, belly rubs, and new friends to meet, and Kimchi even rode around in a golf cart like a total pro, making sure not to miss a single opportunity for attention.

Meanwhile, Connor and Colby enjoyed playtime, puppy naps in the grass, and proving that it’s impossible to walk past a puppy without saying hello.

After a day full of sunshine, affection, and making people smile, these sweet pups are more than ready for families of their own.

The best part about getting older? Knowing exactly what matters! ✨

For Lola, it’s simple: plenty of affection, a game of fetch, a little cheese, good dog friends, and making the most of every day.

At 8 years young, Lola is a social butterfly who loves being part of the action. She adores spending time with people and enjoys the company of other dogs, having done well with canine pals of all sizes and ages.

And don’t let her age fool you—this golden girl still has plenty of pep in her step! She loves playdates, has the spunkiest full-body wiggles, and is always happy to head out on walks with her friends. She’s respectful around other dogs, and the way she gently takes treats is enough to melt anyone’s heart.

No puppy chaos. No wild phases to grow out of. Just a loving lady who’s ready to be your sidekick for all of life’s little adventures.

Lola is ready to trade the shelter for a couch, a family to call her own. Could that be with you?
