Overwhelmed Ministry

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and also of the living creatures and of the elders. Their number was countless thousands, plus thousands of thousands. They said with a loud voice:
The Lamb who was slaughtered is worthy
to receive power and riches
and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and blessing!
I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them say:
Blessing and honor and glory and dominion
to the One seated on the throne,
and to the Lamb, forever and ever!

“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be in the days of the Son of Man: People went on eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day Noah boarded the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. It will be the same as it was in the days of Lot: People went on eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building. But on the day Lot left S***m, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all.
It will be like that on the day the Son of Man is revealed. On that day, a man on the housetop, whose belongings are in the house, must not come down to get them. Likewise, the man who is in the field must not turn back. Remember Lot’s wife!
Whoever tries to make his life secure will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.
- Luke 17:26-33

I give thanks to Christ Jesus our Lord who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, appointing me to the ministry— one who was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an arrogant man. But I received mercy because I acted out of ignorance in unbelief.
And the grace of our Lord overflowed, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them.
But I received mercy for this reason, so that in me, the worst of them, Christ Jesus might demonstrate His extraordinary patience as an example to those who would believe in Him for eternal life.

Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens.
For He chose us in Him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight.
In love He predestined us to be adopted through Jesus Christ for Himself, according to His favor and will, to the praise of His glorious grace that He favored us with in the Beloved.

But thanks be to God, who always puts us on display in Christ and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
To some we are an aroma of death leading to death, but to others, an aroma of life leading to life. And who is competent for this?
For we are not like the many who market God’s message for profit. On the contrary, we speak with sincerity in Christ, as from God and before God.
– 2 Corinthians 2:14-17

Then Jesus told them, “These are My words that I spoke to you while I was still with you—that everything written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”
Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.
He also said to them, “This is what is written: The Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead the third day, and repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem. – Luke 24:44-47

He is risen!

Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous ones;
praise from the upright is beautiful.

Praise the LORD with the lyre;
make music to Him with a ten-stringed harp.

Sing a new song to Him;
play skillfully on the strings, with a joyful shout.

For the word of the LORD is right,
and all His work is trustworthy.
He loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of the LORD’s unfailing love.

The heavens were made by the word of the LORD,
and all the stars, by the breath of His mouth.
He gathers the waters of the sea into a heap;[a]
He puts the depths into storehouses.

Let the whole earth tremble before the LORD;
let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
For He spoke, and it came into being;
He commanded, and it came into existence.

The LORD frustrates the counsel of the nations;
He thwarts the plans of the peoples.
The counsel of the LORD stands forever,
the plans of His heart from generation to generation.
Happy is the nation whose God is Yahweh—
the people He has chosen to be His own possession!

The LORD looks down from heaven;
He observes everyone.
He gazes on all the inhabitants of the earth
from His dwelling place.
He alone shapes their hearts;
He considers all their works.

A king is not saved by a large army;
a warrior will not be delivered by great strength.
The horse is a false hope for safety;
it provides no escape by its great power.

Now the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him—
those who depend on His faithful love
to deliver them from death
and to keep them alive in famine.

We wait for Yahweh;
He is our help and shield.
For our hearts rejoice in Him
because we trust in His holy name.

May Your faithful love rest on us, Yahweh,
for we put our hope in You.

- Psalm 33

Overwhelmed Ministry - 2024
Just one thing: Live your life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. - Philippians 1:27

For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift — not from works, so that no one can boast.  For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk....

One sound shakes the spheres, makes mountains tremble, puts enemy armies to flight, and echoes throughout the hosts of heaven — the laughter of God at his enemies.
