We recently had visitors to our office in Eldoret. Ken and Paul from Kickstart, and Sheila from Grekkon, all met with Dan and Caren. We are always looking for ways to partner with other companies and nonprofits to better serve students and farmers!

We would love to introduce you to Gloria, Faith and Shadrack! They are three secondary students who are receiving a scholarship to attend school. Gloria plans to become an engineer, Faith a teacher and Shadrack a doctor. We say congratulations on your achievements, to all three of these young people with important dreams!🤩

Recently a very special event was hosted by the Mama Ada Alumni Group, at St. James Church in Kabuson. These scholarship alums gathered to speak to and inspire current students, to plant trees, and to visit and give gifts to community members in need of some support. What a beautiful day, and thank you to the alums for giving back to your communities!🙂😇

We really love this story sent to us by a Mama Ada scholarship alum, George Kipruto!

In 2012, Julius Tallam was George’s teacher. And now, he is the principal of the school where George is now a teacher, having recently graduated from the University of Eldoret.

Their school is called ACK St Peter’s Sangalo Central, and George teaches in the middle school, with students aged 12 to 15. George really enjoys teaching, and how he can share knowledge, connect with others and keep learning himself. He loves when he can help someone learn something new, or to see a concept in a different light. And he loves working in a school where he used to attend, and with his former teacher, Julius!

Congratulations, George, what a truly wonderful achievement!
