# Formal Notice of Intent: Funeral Service at Old Near North Camp

This letter serves as a formal notification regarding a private funeral service for the late **Marvin Ray McCowen**, who passed away on **April 2nd**, and was a proud mentor of the restoration and preservation of this North Side community. His funeral service will be held at the **Old Near North Camp** on **Saturday, April 18th, commencing at sundown.**
The decision to have the service held at this location is in accordance with Mr. Marvin Ray McCowen\'s final wishes. This will be a sober tradition; there will be no drink or drugs used around or on the property. A small fire will be lit for a dinner service.
