COSIG - Where We Help, House and Train Homeless Veterans
COSIG, Inc. (hereafter referred to as: COSIG) was formed to HELP, HOUSE and TRAIN homeless veterans. On any given night in America, there are approximately 50,000 homeless veterans living on the streets. Did you know that returning veterans are more likely to experience homelessness than almost any other group of people? Think about it. Our veterans risked their lives for our country, they shed blood, sweat, and tears for our nation. And what do we do in return? We turn a blind eye and watch them become social outcasts.
COSIG is a Virginia based 501(c)(3) nonprofit company with a national view of veteran homelessness in America. Our goal is to raise enough money to purchase an old military base that will become the new training facility for veterans once they return home from military service. COSIG will HELP connect veterans to their benefits and support services. COSIG will HOUSE the veteran for up to 2 years while we TRAIN them in one of our five career areas. This will help the veteran find a job, a home, and a brighter future. Our five career training areas are: Automotive Repair, HVAC, Landscaping, Industrial Piping and Residential / Commercial Construction.
COSIG is a 100% independent project, we depend on generous donations in order to keep our organization up-and-running. Your invaluable contribution will allow us to continue to HELP, HOUSE and TRAIN homeless veterans who need to restart their lives. Given the chance, we plan on further expanding our training program, covering the costs of our housing project and offering our services to more veterans.
WE NEED TO STAND TALL AGAINST VETERAN HOMELESSNESS!
If any of your loved ones have served in the Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard or the Air Force, then you already know that coming home and readjusting to reality is quite hard. Now imagine if your loved ones didn’t have any support or training. Wouldn’t you like to do something about it?
SUPPORT COSIG BY DONATING & SPREADING THE WORD TODAY! IT’S OUR TURN TO HELP OUR VETERANS!
