Tonight the Hopewell Optimist Club hosted the award ceremony for spring sports at Hopewell High School, pictured are athletes and coaches that were honored tonight for there commitment in there respective sports, Men and Women tennis, Men and Women soccer, Women softball, Men’s baseball, Men and women track and field. Congratulations to all that received awards and thank you for having your Optimist Club host this event.

It was a beautiful day for fishing, thank you to all the parents that brought your kiddos out to go fishing. The Optimist Club would like to thank Randolph Market, Green Top Sporting Goods, The National Park Service, Celebri-tees, Harlan Construction, Pops Kettle Treats, The Opti Missus, the Hopewell School System, and David Yates for there donations to help us with this event. Our winners for the day were Mariana Amos with the most fish caught, and Carter Amos with the big fish of the day. Thank you to all the men and women that help in this special event.
