From a Post-Retirement Gig to a Purpose I Never Planned… and God Is STILL Blessing! 🙏🏽

Eight years ago, I thought I was simply starting a little post-retirement gig. I never planned on building a business, and I certainly didn’t have a blueprint for what Community Transformers would become.

What I did have was a willingness to be obedient to a spiritual calling, to serve people, meet needs, and follow where God was leading me.

Fast-forward eight years, and the blessings aren’t just coming…they are ABUNDANT. 🙌🏽

And today, I’m grateful to share another one: God just blessed us with a NEW Community Transformers vehicle!

When I look at where we started and where we are today, I know this journey is about much more than business.

Today, Community Transformers provides monthly food distributions, delivers food directly to individuals and families in need, and operates a Medicare Mobile Enrollment Van that allows us to take Medicare education and enrollment assistance directly into the community.

And we’re not finished.

Our next vision is to expand our mobile outreach to support maternal health in rural and underserved communities…helping connect mothers and families with education, resources, support, and access where it is needed most.

So when I look at this new vehicle, I don’t just see another truck. I see another blessing. I see another tool for service. I see another reminder of what can happen when you are obedient to your calling, even when you don’t fully understand where it is taking you.

What began as a post-retirement gig became a business I never planned, a ministry of service I couldn’t have imagined, and a journey that continues to remind me of God’s faithfulness.

Eight years later, all I can say is: LOOK WHAT GOD HAS DONE! 🙏🏽

And if these past eight years have taught me anything, it’s that He’s not finished yet.

To God be ALL the glory!
