I've noticed in Petersburg that the guys that be in the street??? they give back to their community big time especially around holidays and back to school... what saddens me is a lot of you guys in this Hopewell community be getting money,, taken from the community and never want to give back nothing!!! Only a few and very few compared to the rest who operate with impunity!!! Continuing to put the batteries in the back in our youth and misleading them down the path of jails institutions and death.. claiming the love and unity of (GANG GANG) but won't even put money on the books for canteen,,, or help pay for the lawyers or even chip in for burial for a lot of these families who is affected by all of the above..... Even with (MURDER) One family has to deal with the death of the loved ones,, while the other family have to deal with the fact that their family member would be gone for years leading them to take care of the kids they leave behind and the mothers who hearts are broken,,, from the loss of a child in death or incarceration!!!!!
And it's hard to really help when those who are put in position,, click up and only allow those that they like or are willing to turn a blind eye to their f@ to help them help the community!!!
Ever so quick to judge first responders and the people who (WE) put in office.... Yet so easily to forget the clone statement of
(nothing about us without us)
And the few of us from here who do their best to try to give back to the community, can't get the support needed from the community because the community judges us from our past!!!and fail to understand that it's our past what propels us to do what's right in our community today... But quick to ask our leadership to support out of town organizations who can't even stop the violence in their own towns!!!!
Please don't get me wrong Hopewell is a wonderful City filled with wonderful people whom will give you the shirt off their backs!!
But we have let an element yes a diabolical element begin to take root in this community that must be stopped!!! And I'm not just talking about the criminal element,,, I'm talking about that element that claims to have all the solutions and will give it to this community at a price when all y'all doing is selling snake oil using Cloak and Dagger effects on a vulnerable community!!!!
