All games will TENTATIVELY start the week of June 1 with a break the week of the Bartholomew County Fair June 19-27. All makeup games will be scheduled as close to the original game date as possible. Fridays will be utilized for makeup games as necessary.

There will be NO games tonight.⁣
While the heat index technically sits just below our official policy limit, our coaches have agreed that the safety and well-being of our players come first. With the cumulative heat this week, we want to make sure everyone stays safe, hydrated, and rested.⁣

With the heat index reaching dangerous levels, keeping everyone safe and hydrated is our absolute top priority.

☀️ 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐒𝐏 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞: 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 & 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 ☀️⁣
With the temperatures climbing, we want to remind all HSP families that the safety of our players and coaches is our absolute top priority.⁣
⁣
Moving forward, our on-duty Board Members will be closely monitoring the heat index every 30 minutes during game nights. Decisions regarding game status will be made 1 hour before the first game based on the following official heat policy:⁣
⁣
𝟗𝟗° 𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫: Games will be played as scheduled.⁣
𝟏𝟎𝟎° 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟎𝟒°: Any scheduled double-headers will be rescheduled.⁣
Game play will be paused (including the timer) every 2 innings for a mandatory 10-minute hydration break.⁣
𝟏𝟎𝟓° 𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫: All games for the night will be rescheduled.⁣
⁣
Our board member on duty will also ensure that any player or coach who needs water during those mandatory hydration breaks is supplied with one.⁣
⁣
Please make sure your athletes are pre-hydrating before arriving at the fields, and don't hesitate to reach out to the on-duty board member if you need assistance. Stay safe, stay cool, and let’s play some ball! 🥤⚾️

Field updates before the flood of 2026 takes place. We still have a lot of finish work to do, but we have made huge progress these last two days.

A huge thank you to the board members who have helped make this possible. Also, a huge thank you to zach cowan with c&c outdoor services for donating his time helping as well.

We will get them finished up after all the rain and look forward to seeing everyone next week.

Mother nature wins again.

There will be no games today as the diamonds have taken on way too much water. We will work on rescheduling as we can . We hope everyone enjoys fair week next week, and we look forward to seeing you all back the following week.

☔ CANCELLATION NOTICE ☔

Mother Nature is not cooperating with us today. Due to the steady rain we are currently receiving, combined with what the radar is showing headed our way, tonight's games (Wednesday, June 17th) are officially canceled.

The fields are just too wet and unsafe for play.

We hate having to call it, but player safety is always our top priority. We will post updates regarding makeup dates as soon as they are rescheduled.
