🦉Here are our two baby great horned owls with foster keeper One Eyed Jack. They were moved into a larger stall in the bird barn so the babies can stretch their wings as they get ready to be moved again to try flying out!

Do I have something on my face?
🦉This Great Horned Owl was brought it earlier last week. It came in with Orange/Red eyes which have cleared up (Caused by either skunk spray irritation or trauma).

Put Saturday, June 6 on your calendar! Utopia will host an on-site program and tour for families and friends.
An educational program is at 1:00 PM followed by a tour. Bring water and comfortable walking shoes. Cost is free for children under five, and ten dollars per person for adults and children over five. The event is weather permitting.

Well this was a day! A tree was cut down and two girls noticed there was a nest and they brought the eggs to us! These eggs were starting to hatch. Of 5 eggs, 2 are alive and 2 of them had passed. Our volunteers helped them out out of their shell so they wouldn’t get shrink wrapped in the membrane inside their eggs. There is one egg left that is still in the incubator that has not started hatching yet. We don't know what they are yet, but they are some sort of raptor. We will try our best with these babies to help them grown and released. We'll keep you all updated. In the meantime, if you can donate, we accept them below and appreciate you all! ⬇️

Once again, sincere thanks for helping us with this little guy. He’s an Eastern Screech Owlet named Mr.Rogers. because he was found on Rogers Street in Bloomington. So many people stepped up and wanted to help, and he’s doing great! He’s spicy!
