Counting down the days until our very own , Ali Mims, competes for the Miss Alabama title.

The Sandlin Foundation is so proud of you, Ali, and honored to support the incredible mission of the Joyful Noise Foundation. A couple weeks ago was such a beautiful evening filled with prayer, encouragement, and support as the community came together to send Ali off to Miss Alabama. Ady’s Big Army creates meaningful opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive, contribute, and be celebrated for exactly who they are.

As you may know, Ady’s Big Army is being featured as this month’s Cookies & Kindness at Cookie Fix. In just 24 months, Chief Tim Lawson and the Manufacture Good team have changed 36 lives through metalworking and woodworking training, mentorship, and spiritual development. Through their 3-month paid apprenticeship program, young men are gaining job skills, confidence, and purpose for the future.

Last Wednesday was a day to remember as we celebrated the first Hoover Heroes Luncheon at Aldridge Gardens, honoring our very own Dwight and Sandy Sandlin and the heart behind founding The Sandlin Foundation—and how far it has already come.
