To our incredible partners - Create Birmingham, Black Cherry Tree Project, Bib & Tucker Sew-Op, & Birmingham Civil Rights Institute - THANK YOU for your vision, collaboration, and commitment to this work. Together, we created something truly special.

From live performances that moved us, to hands-on arts activities led by the Birmingham Museum of Art, to meaningful conversations during our panel discussion, the day was filled with moments that reminded us of the power of coming together. Seeing our community engage with the Bound Together: Threads of Remembrance exhibit and connect with local organizations was everything we hoped for.

Thank you to everyone who spent their Saturday with us, sharing stories, creating art, breaking bread, and weaving threads of remembrance and resilience. This is what community looks like. 🧵

If you missed it, the Bound Together exhibit is still on view at BCRI. We encourage you to visit and experience this important work.
