Bake Sale Time! (For BOTB)

Where are all of our bakers of delicious treats? We are looking for bakers to submit sweet creations for our bi-annual Bargains on the Bluff Bake Sale! Last year we SOLD OUT because y’all’s treats were so delicious. We want to do it again and raise money for little ones in our church and our community! Be thinking about what you’re going to make! Due to the possiblity of ice roads on Monday morning we are changing our January meeting to this Sunday afternoon, January 25th, 1:30 - 3:00, in the Fireside Room.

We know this is short notice but this is an important meeting where we will discuss missions and also make our pledges for the coming year. Please answer and let me know if you can come.

We will also have a volunteer sign up sheet for our upcoming bake sale on February 19-21 at the consignment sale, which Ronda has once again agreed to manage for us.

If you are attending the Bible Study at 4:00 pm, just bring you a snack to enjoy before the study.

🩷What a Day at The Lovelady Center💚

Yesterday felt like one of those moments when the Lord reminds us He is writing a story far bigger than we can see. We were honored to welcome Chris Tomlin and his wife Lauren, film producer Cindy Bond (I Can Only Imagine and the soon-to-release I Can Only Imagine 2), screenwriter and director Rosalind Ross, and Dr. Carlos Campo, President of the Museum of the Bible, along with his wife Karen.

From the very first conversation, it was clear that “How Great Is Our God” truly echoed through the halls. Their encouragement to our women and staff was a “Good Good Father” kind of reminder that we are seen, supported, and loved.

As our guests toured the Center, heard stories of redemption, and learned about the work happening here every day, we couldn’t help but think of the countless women who have experienced their own “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)” moments inside these walls.

We are beyond grateful for their time, their hearts, and their belief in what God is doing here. Thank you for shining a light on this ministry and for helping us continue to tell the story of hope, healing, and new beginnings.

We will remember this day because God was in it.
