Hoosick Area Church Association HACA exists to serve those in need in our community through food distribution, tax preparation, and a HACA is an all volunteer organization.

The Hoosick Area Church Association is a 501(C)3 organization comprised of 8 churches in the Town of Hoosick who work together to meet the needs of the people in a manner that dignifies and strengthens the individual, the family and the community. Some of the ministries that take place throughout the year are the Food Pantry (on-going), VITA Income Tax Prep, Emergency Services, Christian Action Award, Health Center Services, Back-2-School Boost, Holiday Baskets, Good Friday Walk, National Day of Prayer Service and Baccalaureate. Churches who are involved include All Saints Episcopal, Hoosick Falls Community Alliance, Cornerstone Fellowship, Hoosick Falls Baptist, Immaculate Conception, St. Mark's Episcopal, Hoosick Baptist, and West Hoosick Baptist.

If you are able you may drop of at the pantry during regular hours, leave in the unlocked shed after hours, or drop off at the Immaculate Conception Church and we will deliver.

As we prepare to provide holiday meals for families in our community this Thanksgiving and Christmas, we are reaching out for your help.

The Regional Food Bank is currently out of several needed items, and the next delivery date is uncertain. To help us fill the gap we have created an Amazon Wishlist for cranberry sauce and gravy. Gravy packets may be the best option, as they are lighter and easier to ship.

The most needed items are cranberry sauce and gravy (packets are lighter). You may leave at tge pantry @ 26 John St. Hoosick Falls during our hours, leave in the shed after hours, leave at Immaculate Conception Church, or order from Amazon.

Using Amazon all donated items will be delivered to the Immaculate Conception Church and will be transported to the food pantry for distribution.

Every donation, big or small, will help us make the holidays a little brighter for our neighbors. Thank you so much for your support and generosity! 🦃🎄💚

Our local food pantry is experiencing a 10 to 15 percent increase in clients. Reminder that we will be preparing over 400 boxes of food for familes for Thanksgiving and Christmas meals. Each box contains food for a holiday meal and extra food for clients pantries. All donations are appreciated. Canned beans, Cranberry Sauce, Turkey gravy packets, oatmeal packets, raisins are some of the items needed.

: Food groups told Warren County leaders that food insecurity is rising, with nearly 12.5% of residents and one in six children needing help. According to the update, the groups are seeing more requests for food assistance from Warren County residents who had not needed help before. Family Service Association reported a 25% increase in food requests.
