The Wood Block building’s third-floor performance spaces are glowing for the first time in at least 50 years!

This is just a sneak peek. Interior photos of the restored North Hall (the right half of the top floor) are coming later this week, and November brings chances to see it and the completed second floor in person, with special performances. Dates and times coming soon!

Thank you to the donors and volunteers making this possible.

🎄❤️ *OFFICIALLY KICKING OFF OUR 7TH ANNUAL HOOSICK FALLS CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE!* ❤️🎄

It’s hard to believe we are beginning our *7th year* of coming together as a community to help make Christmas a little brighter for local children and families. 🎁

What began with a simple hope of helping a few families has grown into a tradition that means so much to us. Year after year, the generosity, kindness, and love shown by the people of *Hoosick Falls and our surrounding communities* continues to remind us what the true spirit of Christmas is all about. ❤️

Our Christmas Toy Drive is about so much more than toys. It’s about making sure a child wakes up on Christmas morning with a gift to open, a smile on their face, and the feeling that their community cares about them. It’s about parents knowing they aren't alone. And it’s about neighbors helping neighbors during a time of year when a little kindness can mean everything. ✨

As we officially kick off *Year 7*, we are asking our wonderful community to once again come together. Whether you donate a new toy, make a monetary donation, volunteer your time, help spread the word, or simply share this post — *every single act of kindness makes a difference.*

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported this program over the past six years. We truly could not do this without you. 🥹❤️

🎅 *Let’s come together once again and make Christmas magical for the children of our community.*

*7 years. One community. Countless Christmas memories.* 🎄❤️

Thank you for believing in this program, believing in our community, and helping us keep the spirit of giving alive.

🎁 *Let’s make Year 7 our biggest and most meaningful Christmas yet!* 🎁

HOOSICK FALLS — The community’s signature celebration of local farm heritage returns Saturday, Oct 3. when the Walter A. Wood Tractor and Agricultural Show takes over Walter A. Wood Memorial Park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Now a fall favorite for families and collectors alike, the show spotlights antique and vintage tractors, horse-drawn equipment and implements, working hit-and-miss engines, and contemporary machinery. It honors the village’s industrial roots in the Walter A. Wood Reaping and Mowing Company, which manufactured horse-drawn farm equipment in Hoosick Falls from 1865 to 1924.
At noon, the Burton Luke Tractor Parade will wind through village streets, showcasing meticulously restored tractors and farm equipment of all eras. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy hayrides courtesy of JC Tractor of Hoosick Falls, plus the giant Pumpkin Bounce house and a petting zoo.
Food and fall treats will be on hand, including hamburgers and hot dogs from the Fuzia food truck. Vendors will offer seasonal décor such as pumpkins, gourds and hay stalks, along with other farm products. Guests can sample dairy products made with milk from Hoosick-area farms and catch the HF FFA Cow Plop.
Residents from Hoosick and surrounding communities are invited to enter tractors, implements, hit-and-miss engines, livestock and agricultural products.
