Some of the best ideas don’t come from a meeting agenda! 🌺

Last night some of our Beautification Committee traded the agenda for a backyard happy hour, where we spent the evening laughing, dreaming big, sharing ideas, and talking about what the future could look like for our community. It’s amazing what can happen when passionate people come together with a shared goal of making our town an even better place to call home. 🌿💐

Our flower pots are looking beautiful! 🌸🌼

This year, we expanded our downtown flowers by adding additional pots to extend the displays toward our new developments while continuing to enhance the spaces that make our community special.

A huge thank you goes out to our watering gals for their dedication and hard work all summer long.💧🌺

The Hoople Beautification Committee is proud to recognize Malory Kemp as the recipient of our 2026 HBC Volunteerism Scholarship! 🌱✨

As our committee continues to grow, we recognize that creating sustainable progress in rural communities means continuing to engage and encourage volunteers of all ages to step up, get involved, and invest in the future of their communities. That vision is what inspired the creation of the HBC Volunteerism Scholarship.

This scholarship honors a graduating senior who demonstrates a strong commitment to volunteerism, community involvement, and giving back - values that we feel help rural communities thrive.

We were incredibly impressed by the applications we received and by the dedication these students have already shown to their communities at such a young age.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! 🎓 We can’t wait to see all you accomplish! 💚

✨ Hoople Beautification Grant Announcement ✨

The Hoople Beautification Committee is proud to announce that Valley Hardware, owned by Tom & Kristi Gullickson, has been selected as the first recipient of the Hoople Beautification Grant.

This marks the official launch of our Beautification Grant Program—an initiative designed to support Hoople businesses in enhancing the exterior appearance of their storefront.

What is now Valley Hardware has long been a valued part of Hoople, and we are excited to support improvements that will further contribute to a welcoming and vibrant Main Street. We are especially looking forward to seeing the upcoming exterior renovations come to life!

We look forward to continuing this program and investing in projects that strengthen our community and support local businesses. 🤍
