Hoopeston Rotary Club has received a grant from Rotary District 6490, which is being used to support the Hoopeston Animal Rescue Team. We have purchased 21 special beds, so all of the dogs waiting for their forever homes at HART will have a comfortable space to sleep. We are also collecting food and treats for the animals in HART's care. Collection boxes have been placed in the following locations: C&D Feed and Seed, CVS, DACC Higher Learning Center, Kirby Foods, Olympic Hardware and Tractor Supply. Purina dog chow (green or brown bags) Purina Indoor Cat Chow and Kitten Chow, canned foods and Milkbones, TSC Meatballs & wedges, Retriever Biscuits are all on HART's wish list. Donations will be accepted through the end of the year.

It is the end of the Ice Age for Hoopeston Rotary. The Ice Cream Age, that is! After almost three decades of serving ice cream to countless smiling faces, we decided it is time to pass the torch to someone younger and with more energy. We would like to introduce you to the new owners of the ice cream trailer: Gabby & Bailey Crose, owners of Stay Awhile, LLC and Sundae Funday here in Hoopeston. The Crose's will be giving it a new look and a fresh perspective and we are excited to see the ice cream trailer's next chapter. Thank you for all of the support for our ice cream sales and for sharing those years of memories and smiles with us! Here's to many more years of Hoopeston Rotary serving the community in other ways!
