As tradition goes, here’s the last basket of sweetcorn being pulled by the Festival Chairman and Corn Chairman! We appreciate every volunteer that worked on the corn line this weekend to make this iconic festival attraction happen. 🌽💛🌾🚂🎡🎠🎟️

🌽 Labor Day at the 82nd National Sweetcorn Festival! 🌽

Join us for the FINAL day of the festival! Enjoy the flea market, carnival rides, free sweetcorn, BINGO, the Duck Race, live entertainment, vendors, and more.

Don’t forget to stop by and purchase your 50/50 tickets throughout the day available at the souvenir tent and at bingo! 🎟️ The drawing will be held at 5:00 pm and you do not need to be present to win!

🌟 A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO BRETT RUSH! 🌟

This morning, we had the honor of recognizing Brett Rush as he earned his Jaycees State Senatorship, presented by fellow Senators, Jaycees, and his family.

Brett has served as a National Sweetcorn Festival Chairman and Hoopeston Jaycees President, but his service to our community goes far beyond those titles. He is selfless, dedicated, hardworking, generous, and always willing to lend a hand.

Help us congratulate Brett on this incredible accomplishment and thank him for his countless hours of service and lasting impact on our community! 🎉👏
