Chain of Friends ~ Hooper, NE Chain of Friends supports local community organizations by providing monetary support.

Chain of Friends was founded in 1974 and has provided the community of Hooper much support the past 30+ years. The group organizes the annual Chain of Friends Craft Boutique every November, provides monetary donations to local groups such as the baseball league, wrestling club, Hooper Volunteer Fire Department, and countless other groups. Chain of Friends also raised money and was the foundation f

or the Hooper Park playground improvements. The group also donates to local school organizations and other community groups.

This Sunday, join us for our Christmas Extravaganza, a joyous celebration that begins at 4:30 pm at the Hooper Public Library with a special story time session hosted by Mrs. Claus. Afterwards, take a stroll along Main Street to soak up the holiday atmosphere, complete with Chester the donkey and a festive hayrack ride to view the town's holiday lights. Warm up at the Senior Center with a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup or Chili, and indulge in decorating a sugar cookie for dessert. The highlight of the evening will be Santa's arrival at 5:30 pm aboard a Hooper VFD fire truck. We eagerly anticipate sharing another year of cherished small-town Christmas traditions with you. 💚🤍❤️
