Tonight, the 10U teams split against Tekamah. LV Blue battled until the final inning but fell short, 13-6, while LV Gold secured an 8-4 victory.

In the first game, Austin Meyer and Cora Knievel led the offense, scoring two runs each. Laynie Johnson and Claire Kreikemeier also crossed the plate with aggressive baserunning.

In game two, Lexi Lynn was strong in the circle, striking out five batters through the first two innings. Brynnlee Moseman closed out the game with three strikeouts in the final inning. Paris Hilbers led the offense with two runs scored. Cora Knievel singled and later stole her way home. Laynie Johnson, Keona Thompson, Lizzie Connett, Brynnlee Moseman, and Linley McDuffee all showed aggressive baserunning, each turning a walk into a run.

Great effort by both teams tonight! 🥎💙💛

The LVSS 18 and under team split a double header with Wayne Tuesday evening. LVSS dropped the first game with a Wayne walk off to lose 6-7. LVSS was led at the plate by Rachel Purvis who went 3-3 with a home run, double and single. Marah Fischer reached base 3 times with a single walk and hit by pitch. Hannah Jensen added a double. LVSS won the night cap 10-5. LVSS collected 11 hits led by Arienne Summers going 3-3 with 2 doubles. Fischer went 2-2, Purvis 2-3 with a Home Run, Jensen added a double. Kinley Osborne, Greta Meyer and Aleigha Adams each added a hit. Adams got the win in the circle. Great night ladies! 🥎

The LVSS 16/18 under team split two games last night at Tekamah, winning game one 12-0. Arienne Summers and Lexi Cunningham reached base and scored 3 runs each. Marah Fischer earned the win on the mound giving up one hit. LV drop the second game to the Tekamah Herman 16 and under 4-3. Fischer led the offense at the plate going 2-3. Hannah Jensen scored twice. The ladies play this evening in Uehling at 6 & 7:30!

Our 8U girls battled hard today earning their first wins of the season, 12-7 and 13-8! The bats were going in both games with lots of hits, and the team played solid defense from start to finish. We couldn't be prouder of their effort, teamwork, and energy. Great job, girls. Keep it up! 💛🥎💙

LVSS 16/18 softball team split a double hitter with West Point on Wed evening. In game one LVSS won in walkoff fashion when Aleigha Adams drove in Rachel Purvis for the 6-5 victory! Mara Fischer went 3-3 in the game with a double. Purvis swung a big bat with a 3-run bomb and went 2-3 in the game. Fischer earned the win striking out 6. Game 2 saw West Point win 10-2. Adams took the loss while striking out 4. Greta Meyer controlled center field with numerous catches.

💙 10U Blue and Gold were back at it again tonight, both bringing home wins against Bancroft! 💛

10U Gold started the night strong with a 9-4 victory, and Blue followed suit with an 11-7 win.

The girls play at home in Uehling next Wednesday as they take on Tekamah at 5:30 and 7:00! 🥎

The LVSS 16/18 under softball team dominated Arlington Tues evening winning 10-0. Marah Fischer pitched a complete game no-hitter striking out 9. Rachel Purvis led the team at the plate with two hits. Tinsley Wobken and Hannah Jensen drove in two runs each. LVSS showed patience at the plate collecting 8 walks, Greta Meyer led the team with two walks. LVSS is in action on Wednesday in Uehling against West Point!

Big night for our 10U teams against Schuyler!

10U Blue came away with a 14-8 win, and 10U Gold followed with a 13-8 victory! The bats were hot and the base runners were aggressive all night long. Johnson, Knievel, and Hartung combined for 7 strikeouts in the first game, while Lynn and Johnson tallied 6 strikeouts in game two! Great teamwork from both squads!
