🎉 A Milestone Worth Celebrating! 🎉

Since the restructuring of Hoopa Development Fund in 2025, we've proudly approved and funded 152 loans, investing $802,282.02 directly into our community.

Each of these loans represents more than a dollar amount. They represent families overcoming unexpected challenges, students investing in their education, homeowners making needed improvements, and Tribal members achieving important personal goals. Every loan is an investment in the people of Hoopa and in the future of our community.

But this milestone is just the beginning.

Over the past year, we've been working diligently behind the scenes to rebuild Hoopa Development Fund from the ground up. We've been reviewing and rewriting our policies, strengthening our procedures, modernizing our operations, and creating a stronger foundation that will allow us to better serve our community for years to come.

One of our biggest priorities is rebuilding our Business Loan Program. Our goal is to create a program that not only provides access to capital but also supports long-term economic growth, encourages local business development, creates opportunities for Tribal members, and helps keep more dollars circulating within our community.

As these new policies and programs continue to take shape, we'll be sharing updates and introducing new opportunities as they become available.

We're building something that will benefit not just today's borrowers, but future generations as well.

🎉 Help Hoopa Development Fund support Sovereign Days!

We're helping sell 50/50 Raffle tickets for this year's Sovereign Days celebration, and we'd love your support! Our goal is to sell at least $200 worth of tickets to help make this community event a success.

Hoopa Development Fund is seeking quotes from licensed contractors or experienced carpenters for the repair and adjustment of several office doors.

Scope of work includes:

Adjusting one exterior wood entry door that is rubbing during operation.
Adjusting two interior wood doors that are out of alignment and not properly engaging the latch hardware.
Assessing hinges, strike plates, jambs, and related hardware, and making any necessary adjustments to restore proper operation.

We especially encourage qualified local and Tribal contractors to submit a quote.
