Chinese to Christ Ministries - C2C Ministries Making disciples for our Lord Jesus Christ among all people in China, Taiwan, New England and beyond

Chinese To Christ Ministry (C2C) previously Hong Kong Christian Mission was started by Wing Wong in 1974 after he graduated from Platte Valley Bible College (now Summit Christian College). Wing answered the call from God to come to the United States for Bible and ministry training and went back to Hong Kong to make disciples for Christ. Since then, Wing has developed various institutes and tools to evangelize and disciple the Chinese people, including Gospel radio broadcasting, Bible college and training centers, Bible correspondence course, church planting, video conferencing, social media, Gospel tracks and literature, community service and team building. Currently there are seven full time workers and fifteen coworkers on the C2C Ministry team working with fifty churches in China.

Day 5 – Camp #2 in Kaohsiung 🇹🇼

Praise the Lord! What an incredible way to finish Camp #2!

Today’s theme was “Break Out From Prison.” The students watched the Bible story of Peter’s miraculous escape from prison, and Brandon shared a powerful devotional about how many people live in prisons of their own making—fear, sin, anger, guilt, and selfishness—but that Jesus alone has the power to set us truly free.

After the morning session, each class returned to their classrooms to make their final preparations for the drama and singing competition. It was amazing to watch the students work together and confidently present what they had learned throughout the week.

Before the competition began, our Western volunteers presented a simplified Passion Play, sharing the story of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. The presentation led to an extended question-and-answer session, where many students asked thoughtful questions about God, sin, salvation, and how the Gospel relates to their own lives and worldview. These conversations were one of the greatest highlights of the week, and we pray that God will continue to work in their hearts long after camp has ended.

The afternoon concluded with the drama and singing competition, followed by the awards ceremony. As camp came to an end, there were many hugs, smiles, and emotional goodbyes between the students and volunteers. While saying goodbye is never easy, we are thankful for the friendships that were built and the seeds of the Gospel that were planted.

This camp was made possible through the partnership of No Wall Church, the Chinese Bible Church of Greater Boston (CBCGB), and C2C Ministries. Together, we answered God’s call to serve these young people, sharing Christ’s love through English, music, games, and His Word.

Please continue to pray for every student who attended these two camps. We may not immediately see the fruit, but we trust God’s promise that His Word never returns empty. May the seeds planted this summer grow into lives transformed by Jesus Christ, and may God use them to change the spiritual landscape of Kaohsiung, Taichung, Taipei, and all of Taiwan.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, gave, encouraged, and served alongside us. You are a vital part of what God is doing. To Him alone be all the glory! 🙏🇹🇼

Day 4 – Camp #2 in Kaohsiung 🇹🇼

God gave us another exciting and meaningful day at Camp #2!

Today’s theme was “The Greatest Breakout.” Toni shared a heartfelt devotional, reminding the students that the greatest freedom we can ever experience is the freedom Jesus offers through His death and resurrection. The students also watched a short video about Jesus’ ascension into heaven, learning that although Jesus returned to the Father, He continues to reign and calls us to follow Him.

One of the highlights of the day was our Escape Room Challenge. The students entered a simulated dark and mysterious environment where they worked together to solve a series of Bible-themed challenges based on what they had learned throughout the week. At each station, they earned puzzle pieces that eventually formed John 3:16. Once they completed the verse, they were able to “break through the darkness” and escape the room—a reminder that Jesus is the way out of darkness and into the light of eternal life.

The students also enjoyed a Culture USA Discussion Panel, where they asked questions and compared life in Taiwan with life in the United States, especially the differences between our school systems. It was a fun opportunity to practice English, learn about another culture, and build deeper relationships with our volunteers.

As we prepare for our final day tomorrow, please pray that everything the students have learned this week will come together and point them to Jesus. Pray that the truth of John 3:16 will remain in their hearts and that many will continue seeking Him long after camp has ended.

Thank you for faithfully praying for our team and these students. We are excited to see what God has planned for our final day together!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16 🙏🇹🇼

Day 3 – Camp #2 in Kaohsiung 🇹🇼

Another incredible day of camp! God continues to bless us with opportunities to share His love with these wonderful students.

Today’s theme was “Break Out From Fear.” Karen Hess gave a heartfelt devotional, sharing a personal story about the time she and her grandson unexpectedly encountered a huge snake in their chicken coop. She used that experience to remind the students that while fear is a natural part of life, we can trust God to be with us through every challenge.

The students also watched the Bible story of Daniel in the Lions’ Den, learning how Daniel remained faithful to God even in the face of great danger. We pray they will remember that when we place our trust in God, He is always with us and gives us courage to face our fears.

Today was also group picture day, and it was a joy to capture memories with all of the students and volunteers. We are thankful for the friendships that continue to grow each day.

In our English Lab, the students practiced everyday English through a fun grocery store experience. They enjoyed learning how to shop, ask questions, and communicate in English while interacting with our volunteers in a real-life setting.

Please continue to pray for these students. As they laugh, learn, and build relationships with our team, we pray their hearts will also be open to the Gospel. May God’s Word take root in their lives, replacing fear with faith and drawing them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer. We are excited to see what God will continue to do during the rest of Camp #2!

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7 🙏🇹🇼

Day 2 – Camp #2 in Kaohsiung 🇹🇼

Today was another wonderful day at Camp #2, filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful opportunities to share God’s love.

While a few students did not return after learning that this is a Christian camp, we trust that God is still at work. Please pray that even the short time they spent with us planted seeds of the Gospel in their hearts. May those seeds grow, causing them to ask questions, seek the truth, and one day come to know Jesus Christ.

Today’s theme was “Break Out From Getting Even.” Bill gave an inspiring devotional, encouraging the students to choose forgiveness over revenge. They also watched the story of Saul and David, seeing how David had the opportunity to take revenge on Saul but instead chose to trust God and show mercy. We pray this lesson will leave a lasting impression on their hearts.

One of the day’s highlights was our English Restaurant Experience! The students practiced conversational English by ordering Italian food from our English-speaking volunteers. It was a fun and interactive way to build their confidence while creating opportunities for friendships with our team.

From worship and Bible lessons to English activities and games, the students participated enthusiastically throughout the day. It has been a blessing to watch them become more comfortable, build friendships, and engage with the lessons each day.

Please continue to pray that God will soften hearts, deepen the relationships between our volunteers and the students, and use every conversation to point these young people to Christ. We know that only God can bring spiritual growth, and we trust Him to continue watering the seeds that have been planted.

Thank you for partnering with us through your prayers. We are grateful for all that God is doing and look forward to seeing how He will continue to work throughout the rest of the week.

“I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.” — 1 Corinthians 3:6 🙏🇹🇼
