Mountain biking is one of the greatest gifts of growing up in the Gorge.

My kids have ridden with Cooper Spur, Brave Endeavors, and School of Send over the years — and each program offers something unique.

I put together a complete guide to help parents understand the differences and find the right fit for their rider.

If you’re navigating spring or summer programs, this one’s for you.

🎭💃🎶 Is your kid a dancer, actor, singer, musician — but you’re not sure what exists locally?

We've pulled together a parent-friendly guide to performing arts opportunities for kids and teens across the Gorge — studios, camps, theatre, and music in one place.

This is a living resource, so if you know of something we missed, DM us or email us and we’ll add it!

And if you aren't on our newsletter list make sure to add yourself now since future guides may be exclusive to our email list.

In our latest Gorge Youth blog, local expert Hannah Freeman of Held In Water shares common myths about babies and water — and how gentle, developmentally supportive water experiences can build early confidence, calm, and trust.

We’re also excited to highlight her newest offering, Baby’s First Bath (Bath Babies) — a beautiful 4-week, in-person experience for babies 0–6 months and their caregivers, rooted in warmth, relationship, and nervous system regulation.

Read the full post (link in bio) and learn more about upcoming classes starting in February. 💙
